AAM 2008 Board Members Approved

AAM's membership approved eight new members in late February to serve on its board of directors. Listed below, they will begin their terms on May 16 at the end of the AAM Annual Meeting in Chicago. The vice chair will serve a one-year term, six members-at-large will serve three-year terms and one will serve a two-year term.

AAM members had until Feb. 15 to review the slate—which was listed in Aviso and Museum News and on the AAM website—or submit a petition for additional candidates. To be nominated for service on the AAM board indicates that an individual's colleagues hold him or her in high regard. AAM thanks its new board members for their service to the association and the museum community.
