There are two steps to register for Museums Advocacy Day 2018.

First, please complete the 2018 Museums Advocacy Day registration form. When you hit "Submit" you will receive a copy of your registration information and you will be redirected to the AAM website to complete your transaction.

Once you have completed both steps of your Museums Advocacy Day Registration, you will receive a receipt for your completed registration.

Complete your registration by going through the checkout. You will receive a receipt within 24 hours. If you have not received a receipt within that time, contact our registration staff.

Museums Advocacy Day Rate: $199/plus tax
Deadline: Friday, January 26, 2018

Monday, Feb. 26 programming will take place at the Washington Plaza Hotel.

Accessibility

Attendees needing special accommodations including transportation to events, information in alternative formats or special meal requests will have the opportunity to state your need during the registration process. A meetings staff person will contact you to discuss and arrange your specific accommodation. Cancellation Policy

If you are registered and unable to attend Museums Advocacy Day, please notify registration@aam-us.org as soon as possible, as this may impact scheduled Capitol Hill visits. All cancellation requests must be made in writing via fax or email.

If your paid registration included a one-year individual membership, you may request a refund for your conference fees minus the cost of your membership. Requests for your refund will be accepted until 1/26/18. Refunds requested after 1/26/18 will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Please contact registration@aam-us.org for assistance.

The Alliance reserves the right to cancel any program at any time, for any reason. In the event of a program cancellation by the Alliance, attendees will receive a full refund of any registration fees. For face-to-face programs, the Alliance is not responsible for any travel or hotel expenses incurred as a result of your participation or cancellation of an event.

Photography and Videography

By registering for and attending Museums Advocacy Day, you grant the American Alliance of Museums (“AAM”) and its authorized representatives permission to film, photograph, or otherwise record your participation in the event. You further agree that such images, photographs, and recordings may be used by AAM without your prior approval in any form and for any lawful purpose including, without limitation, promoting AAM. Such use will not entitle you to any credit or compensation. You release AAM, its officers, and employees from any liability connected with the use of any image, photograph, or recording taken during Museums Advocacy Day.
