Advocacy Alert: March 17

TIME SENSITIVE UPDATE

House OMS Letter Deadline Extended to Friday March 20!

As we have shared in recent Alliance Advocacy Alerts, letters are currently circulating in the House and Senate in support of funding for museums nationwide through the Office of Museum Services (OMS) at the Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS).

The deadline for Representatives to sign on to the bipartisan House letter–spearheaded by Reps. Tonko, Lance, Slaughter and McKinleyin support of museum funding has been extended to this Friday, March 20

This is a critical opportunity for your Representative to go on record in support of this funding. Nothing has a greater influence on legislators than hearing from constituents (you!) asking them to act on an issue.
