At computer stations, users will conduct advanced searches, create scrapbooks with images and text, and view online applications for classroom teachers, students, docents, and general audiences. They will also explore, through coordinated, interactive exercises in the galleries, ways in which the online resource can be used to enrich gallery visits. Attendance is limited. Training in outcomes-based planning and evaluation is offered through this walkthrough of a new online course called Shaping Outcomes developed by IMLS and IUPUI as a resource for the museum and library fields. Developers of the course will assist participants in creating their own outcomes-based logic models using Shaping Outcomes in a computer classroom at the University of Chicago. (Participants must provide their own transportation to the site, which is 6 miles from the conference center.)
