AAM Publication Competition

For more than 25 years, AAM has honored excellence in the graphic design of museum publications with the annual Museum Publications Design Competition. Come see this year's top prizewinners, on display in the Hall E Lobby of the convention center. Six judges, with expertise in museum publishing, reviewed hundreds of entries in 15 categories, from posters to press kits, catalogues to calendars, and marketing materials to magazines. Audio Recordings - Conference Capture on CD-ROM
Convention Center - Hall D Lobby
Audio recordings of sessions on multimedia CD-ROM (committee meetings and keynote addresses are not audio recorded) will be available for purchase on-site from Digitell Inc. Audio tape recordings (including selected handout materials submitted by presenters) will be available approximately four weeks after the annual meeting. A CD-ROM for each session can be purchased for $12 each on-site; $16 after the meeting. Get the full conference CD-ROM for $149 on-site; and $229 after the meeting. Order forms have been placed in your conference tote bag and will also be available at the Audio Recording desk. You will be able to order from the website after the meeting.

Messages for attendees will be posted on the Message Center bulletin boards Sunday through Wednesday and will be arranged alphabetically. The telephone number for the Message Center will be available later. Please note that paging is not available. Paper and pencils will also be available at the Message Center so that you can leave messages for other attendees. Job placement notices should not be posted on these boards.

All presenters are requested to check-in at the Presenters Lounge for final instructions and information on ProjectionNet, the local area network, and the Conference Capture program. Feel free to use the lounge to review your presentation prior to your talk, to network with other presenters, or just to relax. A list of audio-visual equipment that will be provided for each session will be posted in the lounge for your review.

Attendees with prepaid reservations for tours should arrive at the Hilton Chicago, 8th Street Entrance, 30 minutes prior to departure time. Tours will depart rain or shine. On-site ticket sales are available at the Tour Desk in the convention center Sunday only, space permitting. Only cash and checks are accepted.
