AN EMERGING MUSEUM EXPERIENCE FOR EMERGING MUSEUM PROFESSIONALS


Join us for a fun-filled evening at the newest multi-disciplinary cultural center in Los Angeles devoted to Mexican and Mexican-American heritage, LA PLAZA.  Located in the heart of the historic district at Main and Olvera Streets where the metropolis first began, participants will be able to tour beautifully renovated historic structures adapted for museum use. Enjoy a savory culinary experience by world re-known Chef John Rivera Sedlar the creator and founder of the first Latin food museum in the United States, MUSEUM TAMAL.    Reception includes authentic traditional and contemporary Latin foods, entertainment and music.  Bus departs at 5:30 p.m. from the Convention Center (West Entrance) and returns to host hotels at 8:30 p.m.
