Swarupa Anila is Director of Interpretive Engagement at the Detroit Institute of Arts and heads the department responsible for interpretive planning and development for the museum’s exhibitions and permanent collections. She leads a talented team in exploring innovative approaches not just to presentation of content but also to engagement of visitors and community in the development of visitor-centered experiences with art.
