Alaska, Virginia, Ohio, Florida, Colorado and Illinois are just a few of the states hosting a state museums advocacy day modeled after the national day of “citizen lobbying.” Learn how they got started, how they planned it and how they created statewide advocacy materials that showcased their museums’ collective impact. This session is perfect for state association board members who want to bolster their advocacy efforts at the state level.
