FY 2007 APPROPRIATIONS

On January 31, the House of Representatives approved a year-long continuing resolution, H.J. Res. 20, to provide funding for the remaining nine FY 2007 appropriations bills that the 109th Congress did not enact.  Among them are funding for many of the Federal agencies that support museums including grant programs at the Institute of Museum and Library Services, National Endowment for the Arts, National Endowment for the Humanities, and the National Science Foundation.

The
Senate is expected to act the week of February 12, before the current continuing resolution, H. Res. 102, expires on February 15, 2007.
