MUSEUMS AND THE FEDERAL BUDGET

The American Association of Museums strongly supports significant increases in funding for museums in the private and public sectors at the local, state and Federal levels. Annually, AAM works at the Federal level with its members, Museum Advocacy Team, and other cultural and museum service organizations to lobby Congress to appropriate funds in the Federal budget to programs that support museums.
