In commemoration of its 25th anniversary the National Organization on Disability’s (NOD) announced a special awards competition, sponsored by the Prudential Group. Five associations will receive $2,000 awards with which to acknowledge one of their chapters, affiliates or members for an outstanding program that helped citizens with disabilities participate in and contribute to the economic, social and cultural vitality of their community.

AAM will be administering one of the awards in support of a museum who has shown special dedication to serving disabled patrons.
