The Museums Connect (formerly Museums & Community Collaborations Abroad) grant program enables communities in the U.S. and abroad to learn about one another's cultures through collaborative, innovative projects facilitated by museums.
Museums Connect projects:
•Are developed by museums and executed by communities
•Are mutually beneficial
•Address critical issues
•Feature ongoing dialogues between communities
•Include community and museum staff travel between participating countries
Museums Connect is made possible by the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs and administered by the American Association of Museums (AAM).
