MCCA 2008-2010: US Application Process

The US application process is broken down into three steps. Should you have any questions during the process, MCCA staff is available to provide assistance.

Non-US Museum Partners
US museums may partner with embassy-nominated non-US museums or may nominate additional non-US museums into the program. Non-US museums will not be allowed to propose in conjunction with a US museum unless they have been nominated.

Statements of Intent to Propose, due January 30, 2009
US museums submit a brief, non-binding overview of the project idea for review by MCCA staff. Community-based activities must be at the center of the project.

Final Proposals, due March 16, 2009
US museums, on behalf of their partnership, submit a proposal for review by the MCCA Selection Committee.
