With COVID protocols complicating logistics and limiting in-person options for holding traditional fundraisers and galas, many museums are focusing on shifting their fundraising events online.
Join OMA February 8 to hear from two museums that pivoted traditional in-person fundraisers to highly successful virtual events. Traci Buckner from the Akron Children’s Museum will speak about the museum’s “Grown Up Play Date,” and Kelli Kling and Marissa Muniz from the Wood County Museum will explore their “2020 Virtual Gala.”
Hear about the systems and programs used, lessons learned, what they would change for future events, and the events’ biggest success stories. Attendees will come away with scalable ideas they can use for their own organization’s future events.
