Principles and Standards and Evaluation Guidelines
The Oral History Association shares its Principles and Standards and Evaluation Guidelines. The Association encourages those who produce and use oral history to recognize certain principles, rights, technical standards, and obligations for the creation and preservation of source material that is authentic, useful, and reliable.
Smithsonian Folklife and Oral History Interviewing Guide
Smithsonian Center for Folklife and Cultural Heritage provides guidance on conducting an oral history interview and sharing that information. The guide also includes a glossary of key terms, sample forms, a bibliography and other resources on oral history.
