Once an object is placed in a public exhibition environment, it is exposed to a wide variety of threats to its condition. This four-part webinar course will provide practical knowledge about the materials, methods, and equipment that provides both protection to collections and also the safety to the museum staff and visitors. This course will cover the basics and standards for lighting, exhibition components, mount making as well as installation and object handling equipment. Those who participate in all four Course Webinars, discussions, and projects will be eligible for a CREDLY badge.
These webinars are not available a la carte.
The dates for each webinar are October 25, November 1, November 8, and November 15, 2018, 2:00-3:30pm EST
