The Smithsonian has announced the return of its annual National Education Summit July 18–20. The 2023 Summit “Together We Thrive: Fostering a Sense of Belonging,” will kick-off with an esteemed panel including Secretary Lonnie G. Bunch III. The free three-day convening will include virtual and in-person programs, with a lineup of nationally recognized experts and Smithsonian educators who are at the forefront of pedagogy and practice. Together, we’ll explore critical issues facing teachers and students today with a focus on sustainability, STEAM, racial justice, arts education and more.
