Exhibition Journal: Letters to the Editor
We’re excited to share a new way for you to engage with the journal! Starting in the Fall 2025 issue of Exhibition, we are introducing a Letters to the Editor section to gather your feedback and share it with our community of authors, readers, and practitioners.
Have you read something in the journal that’s made you think differently about your work? Encountered an idea or approach to exhibition-making that’s made you pause? Wanted to be in dialogue with one of our authors about a topic or process they highlighted? Have an idea for the editors to consider moving forward?
We want to hear from you! The deadline for letters for the Fall 2025 issue is August 31.
Guidelines for Successful Letters:
Be Brief
Letters should be the same length as an object label (under 100 words).
Be Constructive
All feedback on articles or features should be friendly and aimed at advancing collegial dialogue and the free exchange of ideas, even when you disagree.
Be Open
All letters must include your name and professional title/affiliation. Editors of the journal will not print anonymous letters.
Selections that follow these guidelines will appear in the next issue (space permitting). We can’t wait to hear from you!
