This "Wordless Wednesday" post goes along with the current project "Art Everywhere"on 50,000 outdoor billboards, bus shelters, and video screens from selected American Museums Art Collections. Artist too have used billboards to have a public presentation of their work. A few artist examples are Felix Gonzalez-Torres and Lindsay Dill.
I posted a link to an article on Studio 360 below about the project. I think the project continues to expand the concept of a museum as well as the reproduction of art. The critic reviewed in the Studio 360 article takes the Modernist approach with the project —
