The Wing Luke Museum of the Asian Pacific American Experience gives tourists a chance to connect with the numerous and varied Asian cultures in Seattle. Through an Institute of Museum and Library Services funded grant that helped community members share their stories, the museum was able to revitalize its community tours.
“Over 30 years ago, community leader Vi Mar launched a tour program called Chinatown Discovery Tours, which operated throughout the C-ID. Upon retirement, she gifted the tour program to The Wing.”
