In this bizarre world COVID-19 thrust upon us, many museum educators are thinking differently, perhaps even overzealously, about our work. This EdCom Cares session will offer an opportunity to explore ideas that you may have considered unexpected or surprising or zany prior to the pandemic, but upon reflection might be an innovative new approach to our educational practice.
We aim to host an upbeat conversation where educators will walk away feeling inspired and energized. Using the field-wide survey we conducted as a point of departure, we will explore new approaches to our work. In facilitated break-out sessions, participants can share their responses and their own wacky ideas.
