Assessing Readiness

Knowing whether or not your museum is ready to undertake certain capital or other large-scale fiscal campaigns is imperative to ensure the institution is able to accept all risks involved in such an undertaking. The Alliance has compiled this set of resources on assessing readiness from amongst its own offerings as well as those throughout the nonprofit and museum sector.

The Alliance provides a handout from its 2013 annual meeting, which offers insight on how to conduct feasibility studies, evaluating campaign readiness and understanding campaign strategies for soliciting gifts and cultivating donors.
