The Museum Workforce in the United States

AAM’s Center for the Future of Museums analyzes data about the museum workforce, including sex, age, race, educational attainment and employer type. The data comes from the 2009 American Community Survey (ACS), an annual survey conducted by the U.S. Census Bureau.
