Revised in 2020, these Principles of Professional Practice for Independent Museum Professionals provide a set of values that range from working with professional integrity and cultivating professional client relationships, to writing contracts and agreements. The document also covers  understanding the culture of the organization in which the professional is working. Finally, the principles also include avoiding conflicts of interest, and handling legal and ethical responsibilities.
