The AAM LGBTQ+ Alliance’s Task Force for Transgender Inclusion is seeking volunteers to participate in creating a Communications Guide and Resource List for the interpretation and discussion of transgender and gender nonconforming narratives in museums and cultural heritage institutions. If you are interested in volunteering for this project, please join us on Thursday, August 12th from 4:00pm-5:00pm EDT for a virtual information session. We are seeking a diverse group of museum professionals to take part in the creation of these resources, including both transgender individuals and allies. Members may take part anonymously if they do not feel comfortable publicly disclosing their gender identity.
