Join the Dayton Art Institute’s Director of Human Resources, Jasmine Spirk, as she discusses steps the DAI has taken to internally develop staff programming to open space for difficult conversations centered around conflicting or differing perspectives. Dr. Shannon Peck-Bartle, Director of Education and Community Engagement, will discuss ways programming evaluation systems can be leveraged to reimagine programs which prioritize community funds of knowledge. And, join the DAI’s Artist Museum Education, Jamaal Durr, as he shares his lived experiences engaging preschool students through art and mentorship as a Black male artist and educator.
