The California Association of Museums and the California Department of Education (CDE) will officially launch the 2021 Superintendent’s Award for Excellence in Museum Education and provide a primer on California’s academic standards and curriculum frameworks, presented by CDE content experts. Presentations will focus on the following four core content areas—English language arts/English language development, the arts, science, and history–social science—to strengthen students’ critical thinking and communication skills. Participation is free, but advance registration is required.
