About our guest: MaryLynn Mack is currently the Chief Operating Officer of the South Coast Botanic Garden. MaryLynn’s career has spanned museums and gardens, from the San Diego Museum of Natural History to the Desert Botanical Garden. She has planned for a zombie apocalypse, navigated organizational change, worked for many years on diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts related to sustainability, and is currently helping a public garden transform into a botanic garden with special exhibitions.
