*Are you from Alabama, Arkansas, Idaho, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Mexico, Utah or Wyoming? Currently there are no advocates registered from these eight states. Will you participate and help ensure your state is represented at Museums Advocacy Day?
Museums Advocacy Day is a unique and powerful chance to join with other museum professionals and supporters from your state and region to make our case directly to legislators and their staff. No one can tell your museum’s story, or its impact in the community, better than you.
Will Congress reshape the tax code in a way that impacts charitable donations? What will the new president propose on funding for federal agencies? Do legislators understand museums’ role in educating our communities and protecting our cultural heritage?
It’s up to each of us to join the cause and speak up for museums. We are so grateful for and proud of the many, many supporters and sponsors of Museums Advocacy Day (listed below), from all types of museum organizations and parts of the country.
