Facing Change : Insights from AAM’s Diversity, Equity, Accessibility, and Inclusion Working Group

In Spring 2017, AAM convened the Working Group on Diversity, Equity, Accessibility, and Inclusion (DEAI). For six months, twenty museum professionals, representing a variety of disciplines, organizational sizes, and types, and perspectives, came together to consider what steps the field could take to promote DEAI. Hear about their five insights, summarizing takeaways from the working group’s conversations about big-picture ideas and specific examples from members’ experiences and action items that you can take to work towards change in your institution.

This EdComversation will be hosted by EdCom in collaboration with the Diversity Committee (DivCom), LGBTQ Alliance, and the Curators Committee (CurCom).
