The Essential Evaluator’s Blog asked museum practitioners to share stories of how their institutions have used data collected during COVID to assess their work, make changes, and think about programs and policy. In this month’s CAREapy session, Lindsay Maldonado, Ph.D., Director of Research and Evaluation, Shedd Aquarium, Elizabeth Kunz Kollmann, Manager, Research and Evaluation, Museum of Science, Boston, and David Sandager, Program Specialist for the Interpretive Programs Work Unit, Minnesota Historical Society, discuss the role of evaluation in preparing to reopen their sites and how evaluation has continued to support their sites, the state of their institutions at the beginning of 2021, and their thoughts on the continued role of evaluation as we continue to move forward in this uncertain time.
