1. The museum field got some good news earlier this week when we learned that Congress had agreed on a bipartisan bill to fund the nation’s federal agencies and programs through September 30, 2017. Importantly, none of the arts and culture agencies nor programs had a budget cut, some even received slight increases. This is good news, but advocates need to keep the pressure on for September.

3. The National Museum of Singapore has partnered with a theater company and youth volunteers to make the museum more inclusive. The museum provided special training to the volunteers to learn basic ways of communicating with children who have different needs.
